    Default Router plane?

Groovers, I acquired this little router plane amongst some other goodies. I can't find any markings on it, it has an oak wooden base and is made of brass. Damien.

Made by a pattern maker perhaps, for his own use.

I cant say I have ever seen one like that but it looks like it would work ok.
Is that the blade on the end and does it fit in both positions? There was perhaps a fence or something intended for that side position.

John, the blade is interchangeable between both positions. I cant see any location for a fence. Damien.

    godwoody,
The blade just looked in the wrong place to me and that made me think the other fixing point is for a fence/guide of some sort. Those one of a kind things are usually for a very specific task so only those who have worked with one will really know.
