Router plane blades
I just got a Stanley #271 router plane, but it came with no blades. Does anyone know where I can get blades for it?
I am thinking of making one out of a 3/16" Allen key. (Picked the idea from Christopher Swingley.) Does anyone have any experience with using Allen keys for router plane blades? Will hardening/tempering be required? Any advices?
Thanks
