    Default Ruler/scraper

I found that a 12" steel ruler these days seems tobe of a very hard specification and can also be use has a steel scraper by putting a slight bending action to both ends. Worth a try

I gather by the glum-face icon at the end that you just ruined a perfectly good ruler by doing something silly - c'mon, give us the full story........

Honest it works the ruler cost less than $2 from a cheap store outlet and the steel is super for scraping and the ruler is now two years old and still going strong for both both duties.

Try one next time you see them at the market outlets, I expect they are all made at the same foundry.
