Sawset. "THE VICTOR" ??
Hi folks
I went into bendigo yesterday to run errands and found this while I was shirking my responsibilities and rummaging around a junk shop.
Cast aluminium.. Just the handles were protruding from a bucket of rust and I took it to be a garlic crusher at first... it has that 70's kitchen utensil style about it. The only markings are "THE VICTOR" cast on the handle and the numbers on the depth slide up front.

I found and entry on the htpaa site
VICTOR Australian Gypsum Ltd Vic Claw hammers, floor lifters and many tools being hand tools for use by plasterers
and I found a few references to "The Victor Tool Co" in the states but v=nothing of any help.
Could be that it's "The Victor" sawset by whoever
Anyway.. I'm sick of google so I thought I'd put it to the good collective
I'd love to hear about it if anyone has any info on this tool ar anything else with "the victor" trademark/logoBest regards, Luban
