I can't think of a harder job. On your knees, on the floor, putting your back into it!
    Have mercy!
    Cheers, Bill

Bill, I had to do a far smaller room that had had the carpet glued down. I used anything I could get my hands on to make scrapers. First time I've ever worn knee pads but it won't be the last I fear.

    Cheers,
    It could be water ...

See the striped scraping ... is this a wooden floor and they are starting with the join lines?
It is described as the parquet scrapers ... maybe that is just a translation thing?

OK .. I looked at it again ... definitely timber flooring.
Interesting ... wonder if "parquet" has taken on a specific meaning now in France?

Is that other guy reaching for a burnisher?
And the hammer to bash some nails down further? (It's quite a hammer)

    Thanks,
    Paul.

Probably the joined lengths have raised a little so they're levelling down first.
Water? Shame on you maligning the French
    Cheers,
    Jim
