Default Anyone point me to Sharksaw supplier in Melb?

    Hi team,
Living out of town a bit, have taken a while to exhaust the obvious possibilities I was aware of for spare blades for my pullsaws. The place on the Geelong Road appears to be defunct, and no-one else seems to be admitting to stocking them. Anyone here aware of where I can get some? I refer to the Sharksaw brand.

    Cheers,

    Bill

Check this guy out - https://www.woodworkforums.com/f171/t...pplier-109585/

Postage from Japan was only 10 bucks for two complete saws......

Oooh yes...I've wasted a little drool over Stu's site on a number of occasions, but as I've already got a couple of these saws, what I really need are spare blades.....
    Thanks all the same

I think you will have to order on-line from the US - Sharksaw is a US brand & I have only seen them on US sites in the last few years.

I still love my Sharksaw Ryoba, although it has some competition these days.

    G'day Bill,

What models are you looking for? I can spare 1 blade each for model 2205 & 2240.

Send me a PM if you're interested.

    Cheers

Thanks, but I've pulled out the packet, and the model I'm after is the 2430, just a tiddler I see now. The Northwood Tool link suggests that their on-hand stocks aren't being maintained either. Looks as if I'll have to order one in

I made a mistake, it should be the replacement blade for the 2440 ryoba saw, not the 2240.

I just looked at the Shark catalog here, http://www.sharkcorp.com/PDF/SHARKSAWcatalog.pdf

No 2430 is listed. Could it be an older model?

    Cheers
