    I think I have a small one too - a little skew rebate plane of around 4 inches.

    Hi Scribbly,

    Thank you and the previous two correspondents who posted the images of those magnificent little planes. Just brilliant work. Quite humbling to look at.There's only one standard there and I applaud it.

    Have any forumites had the privelege of being to the new mosque in Abu Dhabi. That huge complex is built in white marble to a like standard of quality and just pure excellence.Go there!

    The highest level of craft is still alive and well in the scale of the palm of ones hand and also in great buildings. I'm proud to be a little part of that.
