Default Very Very Very Short Plane

In response to the thread about the very very very long plane here is a small smoother just finished that is only 6.6"(168mm) long. A veritable midget compared to the very very very long plane. Gabon Ebony infill, 1.5" wide iron pitched at 55 degrees.

Simply beautiful. What stunning workmanship and ultra thin shaving to boot.

    Good Morning Ron

Beautiful design, beautiful craftsmanship, and that shaving shows that it works beatifully too. A real aspirational tool. Very well done.

One very minor question. Is it Brese or Breze ?

A thing of real beauty. It appears to be without flaw.

Me thinks that i could shave the whiskers off my ugly face with it and it would do a better job than my trusty Gillette! Well done. A beauty

Ron, if you were a woman you'd be in a really short skirt, you're just a tease. Looks fantastic mate as usual. Are you going to give it the antique finish too?

Very beautiful Ron, thank you for sharing.

If I might make one request, could you please add your website to the bottom of your posts (maybe in the form of a signature). Makes it really easy to find your website and view the rest of your beautiful work.

    Thanks,

    Denim.

No patina on this one. This one is going to a gentleman in France who likes it just the way it is.

Thanks to everyone for the nice compliments on this plane.
