Im 30 now, if I keep this up I wont have space for the damn things by the time I retire

I think we need a meeting for toolaholics anonymous... I was thinking some time in October at the exhibition buiuldings in Melb...

or would that be too tempting????

Geez Marios - 'twasn't planes, planes, planes I used to think about all day at your age......

I think your suggestion for a meeting might be a bit like holding AA in a pub. However, since I suggest we are toolaholics unanimous, a tool sale or a pub will be just fine.
But we better do it in the right order...

Well Derek, all I can suggest is, if tools are only a means to an end, and you don't really need that many, send me the #62.

    Default hand planes.

    Well guys i did it. I ordered a LA jack,block, and a i ordered a scraper plane.
That means i now own. a number 4,record jack, 010 very handy, record rebate, 2 number 8's, hand router, bull nose, 2 HNT's, 1 japanese.and a small record block with adjustable mount. I have read heaps here and learnt heaps.
I wouldn't swap any of my planes for quids...well maybe one of the number 8's. All collected over a 30yr period includuing my apprenticeship,......I must be old!
And as they say horses for courses. But if i was planing say WRC. I think hands down my japanese plane is just the ducks nuts. Anyway thanks all for the advice on the LV planes.

Usual disclaimer sale has nothing to do with me etc etc
