you guys are a terrible influence on me Since joining this forum all I can think of is planes, planes and more planes
Im 30 now, if I keep this up I wont have space for the damn things by the time I retire
I think we need a meeting for toolaholics anonymous... I was thinking some time in October at the exhibition buiuldings in Melb...
or would that be too tempting????

hand planes.
Well guys i did it. I ordered a LA jack,block, and a i ordered a scraper plane.
That means i now own. a number 4,record jack, 010 very handy, record rebate, 2 number 8's, hand router, bull nose, 2 HNT's, 1 japanese.and a small record block with adjustable mount. I have read heaps here and learnt heaps.
I wouldn't swap any of my planes for quids...well maybe one of the number 8's. All collected over a 30yr period includuing my apprenticeship,......I must be old!
And as they say horses for courses. But if i was planing say WRC. I think hands down my japanese plane is just the ducks nuts. Anyway thanks all for the advice on the LV planes.
