Sourcing M6 threaded rod - Sydney
Bunnings Belrose only supply imperial threaded-rod and maybe 6mm threaded-rod. Where can I source "proper" M5 and M6 rods that suit most threaded inserts and t-nuts.
I also note that metric rods have 1cm , 1.25cm etc ratings. What is that and how do I enure that I buy the right thing for the inserts?dave

I think you might mean 1mm and 1.25mm rather than cm
In which case this is the pitch of the thread- measure the distance from peak to peak and that the pitch
