    Default Stanely 102 Block Plane

I am dealing with a deceased estate and have come across a Stanley 102 block plane. Not sure of its age, but probably bought in the 1950's or early 1960's. As you can see comes in original box.

What should I do with it? Keep it, sell it, donate it or throw it?
Any idea of the quality of the tool or its value?

    Any and all responses appreciated.

Keep it, give it a sharpen too prove it works, then put it back in the box.
Having the Box is fantastic having the box in what looks quite good condition for its age is a big bonus.
Unfortunately it’s not a super rare model, but with the box is a bonus.

    Cheers Matt.

    Default Stanley 102 Block Plane.

    Hi,

I have just bought a 220 Block Plane in the
original orange box like yours and was in good
condition like yours. I would keep it and use it
now and then as i have done with the Record
0110 on my recent post a few more planes to
    upgrade.

    Martin.
