Question Stanley 10 1/2 plane - disk on lateral adjustment lever is missing

Does anyone have any experience with replacing the lateral adjustment lever disk on a Stanley plane? I have searched the web and it seems replacing the lever itself is tricky, but can find no reference regarding the disk.

    Grateful for suggestions

    Munin

Find a washer or coin that fits and make a new one and rivet it on. Or go to a market and buy an old plane for spare parts.
    I am learning, slowley.

    Munin,
A friend gave me a box of plane frogs, and other parts...there must be more than 20 in the box...
It is not all that difficult to replace either the whole lever or just the disk. It might be possible to do the disk without taking the whole lever out. But I'd take it out.
Not all that hard to break piece of cast iron, or a frog...as another forum member watch me do recently. hehehehe
I would remove the whole lever. Weaken the rivet by drilling into it and punch it out using a piece of hardwood as an anvil. drill a hole for the pin to go into.. And if a lathe is not handy, put a piece of steel like a nail in the drill chuck and using files make a new pin.
I can let you have a lever, but let me see a picture of the Stanley logo. Some went different ways, with vertical or horizontal script. I'll look throught the pile of bits and see if I have one the same. If not, just replace the disk by punching out the pin and put it in yours.
    Regards,
    Peter
