What's a Record worth?
I've just bought a new old stock (or very very little use, i can't be sure) 15" British made Record jack plane still in its original although tatty box with instructions and wax paper.
Looking at the style & browned paper of the instruction booklet it looks to be from around the 1960's.
Are these worth much?

What ever you paid ,obviously you thought it was worth what you paid, otherwise you would not have bought it for what you paid.

So WVB, what did you pay? In box with very little use would be somewhere around the $150 at least.

i too picked one up recently, a #4 1/2 for $32, original box, not much use with instructions
not sure of value, i suppose something that i learned is that the worth of something is whatever people are willing to pay for it. $32 seemed like a safe bet.
thanks
