I have been updating members allocation above in my first post. Please check that I have down for the right amount.
Woodwould has kindly agreed to take care of the CAD files for the laser cutting. Thank you to all who are starting to supply measurements for the CAD file, keep it coming, even if someone has already posted measurement for a specific blade, post yours anyway. It can only assure greater accuracy.
You have about 1 month to arrange your funds.
I will be also doing a run of S390 plane blades for wooden hand planes in the following sizes:
- 40 x 4 x 100 mm for Wooden Hand Planes
- 50 x 4 x 100 mm @ $35 (Will fit your DIY wooden plane and a HNT Jack Plane)
- 50 x 6 x 100 mm @ $45 (Will fit your DIY wooden plane and HNT Smoother, Trying, and Jointer Plane)
- 60 x 6 x 100 mm @ $55 (Will fit your DIY wooden plane)
The cost is not confirmed but it should be no more than what I have quoted above.
Still waiting for:
- pommyphil
- RayG
- Slow6
- Caliban
- rat52 6 blades
To tell me what they actually want.
We are up to 71 Stanley Replacement Blades and 7 blades for wooden hand planes.

Okay, at that price I'll afford two (I should be able to get that passed SWMBO - she's not pleased with what I've been spending on old and new planes recently):
1 @ 2" wide (for a No.4)
1 @ 2 3/8" wide (for a No.7)
No cap irons (chipbreakers) for me thanks
S390 steel is my preference.
Cheers, Vann.

I would like 1 each of:
No. 3 @ (1 3/4" wide)
No. 4 @ (2" wide)
No. 4 1/2 @ (2 3/8" wide)
No. 5 @ (2" wide)
No. 5 1/2 @ (2 3/8" wide)
No. 6 @ (2 3/8" wide)
No. 7 @ (2 3/8" wide)
No. 8 (2 5/8" wide)
S390 sounds good to me, may as well take maximum advantage of the cheap deal.
btw, what will they look like? square or rounded? (I like square)

TS,
Could you please add
2x 50 x 6 x 100 mm @ $45 (Will fit your DIY wooden plane and HNT Smoother, Trying, and Jointer Plane)
1x 60 x 6 x 100 mm @ $55 (Will fit your DIY wooden plane)
Cheers, Jack
BTW, what sort of time frame are we talking?
I will be away from 1-16 Nov and wouldn't want to miss out or jeopardise the order because I'm not available to transfer funds."There is no dark side of the moon really. Matter of fact it's all dark."

Been thinking about replacement irons for some time ,but have been procrastinating over it ,bugger the expense ,I probably won't be able to get my table saw and jointer because of the financial crap going on so here goes.
I'll chime in for
1 x no 3
1x no 4
1xno 4 1/2
1x no 5
1x no 5 1/2 (haven't got this plane yet but should be here in a week then I can measure it.

1xno7
All above Stanleys.

OK, I'm a sucker for this stuff:
6@ 50x 6 x 100 mm @ $45
4@ 60 x 6 x 100 mm @ $55
any chance of 40x4x150 in this new metal? I'd buy 4 plus 2@ 40X4X100
2@ No. 4 @ (2" wide) with caps
After this I'm done with buying blades, I just have to build the planes to put them in.
Kevin
PS TS, I'm happy to help out again with some of the running round, bevel marking, pick ups....

Seems only a few of us are wanting blades for wooden planes..
I'll want...
Gosh! I thought it was gonna be us getting some S390 steel in to see if it's all that.
I wanna make a set of chisels so I'll get a sheet of S390 about 150mm x 120mm* x 4mm that'll be sliced up into 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30mm strips.
*Plus kerfs
If there's not enough people wanting steel for wooden planes and chisels then it'll be rather difficult to get those sizes.
