There have been a few comments (Chris Schwarz for one) that Stanley had a few QC problems like Woodriver. Nothing in recent issues of PW or Chris' blog about current production, although he sort-of likes the chisels.
Woodriver have gone thru' about 3 slightly differing models and 3 levels of QC if on line comments from the US are anything to go by.
