    Dale just spotted this thread had recently with the move scored a tall boy we had which no long fitted anywhere. its houses

    top draw planes and stones
    2nd draw chisels and back saws
    3rd draw saws
    4th hardware screws etc
    5th 2nd storage for other types of hardware for future indoors fittings

    My intention is to make rests up for the saws to sit in when I get time. Trays for the chisels etc

    Like IanW, I can't leave shiney metal exposed, for fear of rust.

    I'm very short of space, and wall space in particular, so I built this smallish till for my tennon saws - about the time DSEL started this thread.

    Due to a sectional garage door in the ceiling space, and fluro lights beside that, I couldn't put a hinged door on it. So it has a toggle on the bottom...

    ...and the front face slides down to allow access to the nine saws.

    Not the prefect solution, but it works well enough - in fact it works very well considering the restraints.

    One day I'll have to make a till for my panel saws .
