    Default Sunday School

It's the nearest I get to religion these days. The HTPAA tool sales are the only thing that gets me on my knees (looking for bargains under the tables)
Sunday just gone was another great morning - lots of cleanup work to do before the next one.
    Cheers,
    Jim

Kept myself well under control - not more than a half dozen mathieson chisels, couple of backsaws (nice disston and a cheap and cheerful S & J) thread die and tap, arkansas stone, tube cutter (for ferrules), brace, stanley 42 sawset, set of centre punches and much more
    No photos though.
Problem with the htpaa sales is trying not to buy what you have three of already.
Most fun I've ever had in school.
    Cheers,
    Jim

There used to be a lot of tool sales in the ACT.
Too many in fact, one every 3 months or so.
Started by Paul from Adelaide then taken over by a local John who got greedy and thought the more the better.
Same sellers, same stuff, same buyers every 3 months.
How to kill a good thing.

    Default HTPAA SAles.

    Hi Fubar,
I happen to be a Member of HTPAA, & had you been one you could have gone on Sat. Evening, which is for Members Only.
Of course it is a big day Sun. but I missed out this time. The next is in March 2010.
They have a Web Site, www.htpaa I think that will find them.
    Regards,
    issatree.

That makes the membership fee seem cheap, being able to have first go at all those tools.
    Cheers,

These things just happen by magic didn't you know?
Start a club, get a commitee, get organised.
Or just get off your #### and do it.
