Stuff like that has a way of taking away all of your excuses, doesn't it?

To me it shows the essentials. He has a good teacher and mentor, his father. He has access to all of the tools and equipment one needs (look at the blog and pictures of the shop), and he obviously has the perserverence to see the project through. That being said, even when I had all of the bells and whistles I don't think I could have every put together this project. So got give him a major "at a boy"

By the way I like Bill's question "where are the dovetails?"

He does have every advantage doesn't he: "We worked on it for 12 hrs on Saturday " - doesn't have 4 kids to take to soccer does he!

It is however, without doubt, a beautiful chair. The G&G style is very graceful and elegant to start with, but I think he's made something which is very special.

Showed it to SWMBO and she's decided she wants some. She doesn't quite appreciate that I'm not 14 anymore though!
    Cheers, Richard
