    Default Tom Lie-Nielsen Chat

    Hi,

Below is a link to a page on the WoodCentral website that features an Internet chat that was held with Tom Lie-Nielsen (of Lie-Nielsen Toolworks fame) and Chris Schwartz (excecutive editor of Popular Woodworking Magazine) on 29th November last year (2005). I hope I'm not wasting anyone's time by posting something that everyone already nows about. I did a search and couldn't find any existing reference to the chat so here it is.

During the course of the chat Tom Lie-Nielsen refers to some new tools that are currently on the drawing board at Lie-Nielsen Toolworks. These new tools include a bronze No. 4-1/2 bench plane, a chamfer plane based on the Stanley 72, a panel saw and some wider bevel edge chisels. I found the chat quite an interesting read.

    Regards,
    Mirboo.

Sounds like some nice tools around the corner.
