I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.

Does it come with an interchangeable Infra Red for night time woodworking?

I think it's mounted back to front, and anyway, where is the laser range finder, for dialling in those mortises?

Rumor has it that it is an apochromatic, rectilinear macro with built in parallax correction for chisels 1/16 through to 3in.

After sharpening, do you test it's edge by shaving the hairs off a gnat's asre?
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

Obviously for carpenters who don't like getting up all close and personal with the workpiece!!

As Woodwould recommended it, I had to give this a try.

Sourced a scope on Ebay, and mounted it to a chisel. Now I'm not bragging, but I do think I have a superior mounting system to WW's.

Anyway, I tried it out this morning. Have to say I was disappointed in the result. Although I must admit, I might have been using it wrong. Yes I can finally see the pencil line. But I found it extremely difficult to bash the chisel, without hitting my head.

I now have a monstrous headache.........I'm going to lay down for a while.
