    Ok What did every one get?

    I was unable to attend as I was cooking, I made my famous Lasagna! (well famous in my house) I make my own sauce, and pasta... it takes 2.5 hours but only 7minutes to eat!

    Did any one get some tremel points that they don't reallllly need. I've been looking for some if you don't need them.

    A grand morning indeed.

    Added to the collection with a no6, 60 1/2 and a 78. Also picked up some EA Berg chisels, some OBM chisels and a beautiful little open handled dovetail saw with hand made cover. Got some sharpening equipment and a kg of citric acid and still had pocket money left for a sausage sandwich.

    My only gripe was the lack of BBQ sauce. Please ensure the catering committee has this redressed before the next sale...!

    A great way to spend a morning.

    Cheerio,
    Virg.

    Default Feedback on the Tool Sale

    Fellas,

    Feedback on the Tool Sale is much appreciated. For those who went, can you please indicate your views on:

    * Location - how convenient to get to, parking
    * Suitability of premises, layout of tables
    * Catering
    * Range of tools for sale
    * Suggestions for improvement

    For those who did not, but could have, gone - what changes might have induced you to go?

    For everybody who knew it was on - how did you know it was on? Please list multiple sources of information, if more than one.

    More generally - how many tool sales per annum would you like to see?

    Any general comments?

    Thanks for your feedback

    Peter,

    As a first timer I had nothing with which to compare it. It was pretty easy to find however some more signage approaching the venue would've had me avoiding heading up Pomeroy and turning a the lights.
    Catering? More barbecue sauce!
    How did I find out? Ttthrough ttthe TTTG!
    Range of tools was fine. I thought that there was a distinct lack of saws compared to the planes that were available. Perhaps there aren't many around or they don't make much money. When dealing with 2nd hand tools I guess one can't really complain about lack of variety if there is nothing available anymore.
    Layout was fine. I don't think on could've got around if there were more tables in there.
    Frequency? Once a year is enough for me. I don't have enough pocket money (nor Sundays) available to go more than annually.

    I'm sure it'll change over the years but if it stayed the same (apart from the bbq sauce) I'd be happy.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers,
    Virg.
