Default The Toolchest of Benjamin Seaton 2nd ed

    Hi all,

The Tools and Trades Historical Society ( TATHS ) have printed a second edition of The Toolchest of Benjamin Seaton. I noticed on thier website that it sells for 19.95 pounds plus postage, or you get it for free when you join the society (25 quid - bargain)!

I suspect that they're going to have a run on membership this season

    cheers,
    B-D

    On the first link: TATHS

"The Tools and Trades History Society (TATHS) was founded in 1983 to further the knowledge and understanding of hand tools and the trades and people that used them.
The tools and equipment of historic trades are now often the only surviving evidence of what were once common everyday activities. The Society seeks to preserve these artifacts and to investigate, record and interpret the past and present performance of trades.

The 2nd edition was released in early 2012.
I believe that new members receive the current publications.
Joining TATHS is a good thing but you may want to check whether the Seaton book is part of this years benefit if you are specifically after that book.

Just to clarify ... the photos were from a "meet it in the flesh" event.
