    Default Tools in Adelaide Markets?

Any Adelaidian's wish to share market locations that sell quality secondhand tools. I can only think of Gepps Cross Market, wouldn't expect to find anything decent there. In particular i'm after a quality Hand Planer No4, not concerned if it needs a little work, just more skill's to learn.

I like to get my hands on used tools rather then resorting to photo's on Fleabay, at least then I know what i'm in for.

    Default good tools for sale

I agree with the lack of sites in and around Adelaide for quality tools,
if ever you are heading down south, there is an excellent tool seller
at the Myponga market each Sat. & Sun. also there is the
South Australian Historical Tool Association, they have monthly
meetings at Colonel Light Gdns. RSL hall, members always have
tools for sale. Contact Dave 0437 933 301

This sounds like a very good idea. No 4's are very common and I am sure that a member of the Tool Association would have a spare or two in much better condition than any flee market find.

Hi Mark ..... I just came across this on Gumtree and thought it would be worth you checking out if you are still looking for a No 4.
It doesn't provide much information but given it comes with the original box you would think it has either been well looked after or not used too much.

Did you end up finding anything decent?

I am trying to get together a collection of woodworking tools for my new shed. I need things like a Drill Press and a scroll saw, but I can't afford to buy everything new.
    Gumtree and eBay seem limited.
