Warranted Superior Saws
I started restoring a couple of saws on the weekend, two of which were warranted superiors. One saw needs a lot of TLC, but is complete, the other needs a lot less, but is missing some split nuts.

Of course, the one missing the parts is the older and more interesting of the two. The WS medallion has an eagle and a shield. It also has a nib!

Like the problem with my S&J saw, can anyone recommend a supplier who might sell old nuts for WS saws?
Thanks,
Craig

you'll have to go thru the difficult process of buying extra saws and trying to scrap them and using the nuts from those.
The second hand shop at the top of the hill in lakes entrance has 20-30 old saws for sale but I think she wants 10 bucks each.
I have 2 saws at the moment that I will use parts from, handles had nothing left but all the bolts were there.
That's where any parts you buy will have come from, you just need to get tough to do it yourself and say that saw's never going to be restored.....its parts
