    Default Wood vice fitting Question

I might be a bit dense,( about 950kg/cm)but fitting a wood vice to a bench and there is not one close and can't see in any instructions etc. I gather You rebate the back jaw into the bench, and the I think You leave the wood insert sticking out proud,is this correct? thanks for any help ,Paul

Paul, the best guide to installing a woodworking vice, Record or clone is Highland hardware's. The link is in "The Best of" section of the BB.

I hope the link works, first time that I have tried something so advanced
