Has anyone used woodcraft.com to buy tools/stones before?
Hey,
I've found that woodcraft.com ships internationally so was gonna buy some tools from.
Has anyone used their site or heard anything of them before?

Cheers.

I have previously purchased with them online as well as visiting two stores on two different trips when I was in the USA. I would have no hesitation in purchasing from them if they have what you want. They seem like a very professional run woodworking store.
Now proudly sponsored by Binford Tools. Be sure to check out the Binford 6100 - available now at any good tool retailer.

Oh no, they don't, do they? I'm dooooomed. I thought they didn't ship internationally, it's the only reason we're not in the poorhouse.
They have a special on Pinnicle #140 blades too....and, to think, I was recently asked what I wanted for Christmas.
We don't know how lucky we are......

Excellent, exactly what I wanted to hear
I'm thinking of getting a set of Arkansas oilstones and a veritas honing guide.

I'm here in the States and I've purchased from them without any problems. They also have a chain of stores with a couple here in Ohio that I want to visit but my wallet won't let me. Since Timbermate isn't available in the big retail DIY chain stores, I ordered it from Woodcraft. I have a few small things from them...next is a dovetail marker. Not much on Japanese hand tools that I use, but for other stuff I just order from them. Great resource.

Be very careful of the cost of shipping, I have found a good price but killed off by their shipping charges to Australia so I don't buy off them any more.
SBPower corrupts, absolute power means we can run a hell of alot of power tools
