    Default Working with Woodshow, Sydney

Well I went to the Wood Show yesterday.

Was enjoyable, had intentions to make one purchase, and I got what I wanted:

Haven’t used them as of yet, but I intend on making a box to store them in, with additional space for anymore chisels I intend on purchasing *cough* fishtail *cough*

So after that purchase, it is back to saving for university and a new motor vehicle...and more tools

    They are beautiful, Rhys.

I bought the same set about six months ago. A real joy to use.

Be sure and post pics of your box!

Congradulations on your chisel purchase Rhys.
I,m sure they will provide more than a lifetime of pleasurable service.
I have a similar set of LN's as well.

Edit: I've been eyeing off the LN fishtail as well. Looks nice.

Yeah the fishtails look really nice.

Will purchase one of those (probably the smallest size, and a 1" Bevel Edge

    Hi Rhys,

Missed you when I was there - still got the boat anchor for you.

    Should I mail it up?

The LN chisels are very nice - they'll keep you going for a while.

    Cheers,

    eddie

    Half your luck!

I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.

Good on you Rhys, great to young people with the foresight to invest in quality that will last their whole life and then some. With fine tools comes fine work.

Sorry eddie, had no idea where your 'stand' was, looked on the intinerary but couldn't find it. I will PM you tomorrow as I am recovering from my wisdom teeth getting ripped out

Thanks Woodwould and Claw Hama, I basically have been working a lot this year saving my money for University (and the tools needed for the course), I new I wanted a new set of chisels and it was either the Lie Nielsen or H&S...unfortunately H&S were not there, and the Lie Nielsen felt really comfrotable in my hand, so I got the last set
And this way, I know how the tools have been treated from day one of ownership
