needing a 10” - 5/8” blade
after the fiasco with my TSC10 saw I am looking at a new blade
10" 5/8 arbor
combination, I plan on doing a lot of MDF, thick jarrah and everything in between.
I am also after one of those magnifier things that sit above the table saw tape measure, with crap eye sight they give a better indication of how wide your cutting, trouble being I dont know what they are called or where/who to ask.I would love to grow my own food, but I can not find bacon seeds

If you're going to be ripping thick hardwoods a dedicated rip blade (24 teeth for 10") would be a well worthwhile investment IMO. It would be nice if there was one blade that could do everything well, but unfortunately that's not the way it works. My saw is similar to yours and I started out with a quality 50 tooth combination blade but quickly realised that ripping thick hardwoods (50mm) was less than satisfactory. Save yourself the grief.

I had one of those magnifiers on my saw and replaced it with one I made out of perspex. The original was too far away from the scale so unless you were directly above the magnifier part you would get a parallax error. The one I made now sits about 1mm above the scale with no magnifier and works much better.

there a few youtube videos about making those guides, but I don't think they do any magnification. I installed a 2nd hand wixley DRO for my table saw and its an absolute delight to use.

sherwood sell their table saw fence separately, might be worth a phone call to them to see if they list is as a spare you might be able to buy?

their 10" contractors saw looks like it uses the same
if you get very stuck, I might be persuaded to part with one of the spares off my sawstop now that I have a digital gauge.
I will also echo what others have said and get dedicated blades, its more expensive but just gives such a better result then any combo will. The first bunch of burnt marks in the hard wood and you'll be wishing you had got the proper blade.

I used pine and MDF almost exclusively for my kids furniture making business.
A LOT of MDF!
The very best blade by far was the P410T 10'' Freud Premier Thin Kerf Fusion Saw Blade
It produced perfect cuts. Very thin kerf, no deflection and sharpened many many times. I own two for while one was at the shop.
I also bought the bigger P412. Its a 12" blade and thicker, but the cuts were the same. I personally liked the fact all the jigs made with the thin kerf were super accurate and the diameter of the smaller blade felt safer.
The thinner blade also made less noise, which I liked
10/10 recommendation.
On the magnifiers, I saw them once at Machinery Warehouse...
china --> table saw magnifier - Buy table saw magnifier with free shipping on AliExpress
High-quality Panel Saw Crosscut Fence Magnifier (Pack of 2) | eBay
8ST6019A - # MAGNIFIER SET PKT 3 | Hare & Forbes Machineryhouse (same but more expensive)
and a magnifier used on welding helmets which might be the go... these things are the size of a credit card. Make up a mount... MICHIGAN 2.0D Magnification Lens MMAG20D | Total Tools
edit --> here is one that is quite large and offers a 2.5 X mag ... CIGWELD Magnification Lens 2.0 108x51mm 454010 | Total Tools this would offer a wide range rather than a little peep-hole

I have taken your advice and ordered the following. wish me luck.
250mm Diameter | 30mm Bore | 40 Teeth
250mm Diameter | 30mm Bore | 80 Teeth both through Timbecom.
I have spent hours searching for magnifier thingys and although the China ones are great price I question the quality (granted not much required) but the angle was proving difficult. So, sent an email to Sawstop as they have as a spare part just what Iam looking for. Be inteesting to see if
1 they will post to me
2 what the freight cost and time is.
hope they dont suggest CarbatecI would love to grow my own food, but I can not find bacon seeds

You do realise that a 40 tooth blade is a combination blade NOT a dedicated ripping blade?
