12" Blade Table Saws for $2500
Hoping to get some advice from here regarding Single Phase, 12" Table Saws.
I am very much sold on the Harvey HW110LGE-30, (10" Inch Blade) but haven't paid for it yet. Once I add the freight from QLD to SA, it becomes a lot closer to $2500 as I go. So, I have looked around a bit locally, to see if I can avoid the freight charges etc. In the process I saw that there is a 12" Blade model, the Leda TC12 that is "around" the same landed price and it seemed a reasonable proposition. the one drawback I see is the tubular framework that allows you to move the Guard over the blade, it looks a bit of a mess to me and I'd be forever knocking things with it and getting tangled up. It seems that the tilt fence arrangement on the newer designs allows you to move the fence from side to side is a far better way to go, without all of the abovementioned.
I am wondering if there are others that you have experience with that might be worth recommending here in the forum? I am definitely limiting my dollars to this sort of limit...
Cheers all!

I have a 10" Leda saw that I bought second hand and am reasonably happy with it. It does have some issues with it but I decided that it is like many saws around that price range and I would need to spend a lot more to overcome these. I don't know specifically about the TC 12 but have heard of them and suspect a search on the forum may bring something up. There is a nice second hand Leda sliding table saw at Lonsdale at the moment for $1100 but it is 10". I decided to go with a cheaper second hand one initially with a view to seeing how it went. Good Luck. Bauldy

These videos are addictive
Does anyone bring in Grizzly Table Saws into Australia? If not, I wonder why? 12" 5HP. $2500 in US Dollars, it would have been affordable before the Dollar went south again. Although I don't think it would be much fun with the shipping side of things. Looks a good machine!

I am aware that these are the same as, or similar to Laguna, Harvey, Jet and others, but there are specs on these I don't see on the others.
