12" Table Saw with upgraded fence system, brand new CMT blade and mobile base
Unsure if this post is allowed however before I post it for sale properly, what is a reasonable price?
Brand is a Woodman Model SB-12.
Paid $1,999 in 2011 for saw
Paid around $350 for the fence
Paid over $100 for the mobile base
Paid over $100 for brand new CMT blade.
I'm thinking $1,999
Cheers
Aron

Maybe a bit more info would be helpful, like make and model, condition etc. Photo would help a lot.
Right now it's just a guessing game.I got sick of sitting around doing nothing - so I took up meditation.

Seeing as you asked what we think! ;-)
I wish you luck, but I would say regardless of the ~$500 upgrades, asking the same price ten years old as the original new price seems somewhat unrealistic to me. I would think towards ~$1k would be a very, very, good price if you could actually get someone to pay that high, which I would consider doubtful.
I sold my one recently that was pretty much the same model, albeit without the upgrades (which really don't add much value anyway), for around $300-$350 from memory, I could probably have gotten a little more if I tried, but it was around 10 years old so I was happy to just move it on as the power consumption unfortunately was too high for my shed.
For comparison a brand new Laguna FS2 from Carbatec is $2500, and that's a lot of saw for that price.
cheers, Ian

Yeah I’d agree that around the $1000 mark would seem a pretty fair price for it TBH. You’ll never get $2000 for a ten year old saw.
Granted they’ve gone up a bit now but I bought my Harvey LW110LGE-30 saw a couple of years ago for $2200 and it’s brilliant.
Best of luck with the sale.

Much the same saw as mine except mine is an open cabinet. Has the same fence which was original and I paid around $1100 for mine about the same time. I think over here the cabinet version was a couple of hundred dollars more at the time.
