18g "nails" in Pine
I've got a bit of pine edging attached to something than needs a few mm trimmed off of it but it has 18g air nails ("soft") tacking it on and it's also glued. I can't see how to remove them without ruining the whole thing.
How much of a mess is it going to make of a saw blade?
The other option (more difficult for me but I'm ordering blades tomorrow) is using a small bandsaw to trim it.
I'm sure enough of it not being safe not to try but thought I would ask as I might learn something new.

if its only a few mm can you punch the brads further in then sand or plane it off
Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything, but they
bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs .

As Fubar says, punch them in a far as you can then cut.
If your using a tablesaw with a TCT blade then just cut it.
