    Default ~2.6m panel saw

Looking for a ~2.6m panel saw - any suggestions?

Anyone have experience with these or have looked at these in the past?

It seems up our way that there is an abundance of used panel saws available on FB Marketplace with SCM's, Altendorfs etc. pretty cheap. Perhaps worth a look down your way.

I picked up a SH mill drill for my BIL with the vendor offering me an SCM for $1k. Simply do not have the space either.

When I was shopping for a panel saw the secondhand ones available were all 3.2 or 3.8 slides and 3 phase.

I bought one of these New 2021 minimax SCM Minimax SC4E Panel Saw Panel Saw in AIRPORT WEST, VIC

It's a good machine, the Sicar you linked to would likely be a fine machine as well and much cheaper.

The Minimax has a seperate scoring motor if you plan to cut panels.

very difficult to find a short stroke good quality and newish panel saw, most panel saw sold in the last 10-15 years are 3.0m, 3.2m or 3.8m

I had this very issue and went to SCM ordered a 2.2m panel L'Invincibile saw. it says 2.2m but it can cut 2.4m without a problem - not very clear on SCM's website but this can be done.

I bought my saw just before Covid happened, so the price I paid (ex Brisbane) is probably not relevant anymore, PM me if you are really keen.
