Thread: How to adjust a table saw?

A few things to look for are:
- dust in the blade flange, give it a really good clean before putting the blade on.
- check the beismeyer fence and rails for dust or grunge build-up.
Is it an "authentic" Beismeyer or a clone?

I've done quite a bit of research prior to buying mine. I have the Woodman SB12, which is the same as the Grizzly Hybrid saw G0715P ( the 2hp hybrid model not the one mentioned above) and other variants re-badged from the same Taiwanese incarnation..... The TruPro TAS 1210MA. The Grizzly model has been customized slightly with some of their own enhancements, which makes for a much better saw then the ones here, which are just re-badged
It is amazing because the Grizzly is less cost then the non enhanced versions sold here for about $350 more. Just shows you how much more we pay for things here compared to other countries.....no wonder we have one of the highest cost of livings in the world!
In fact my manual for the SB12 (aka. TruPro1210ma) has on The parts list pages the name Grizzly written on the side of the pages.....seems the factory in Tiawan mistakenly sent me the pages meant for the Grizzly saw
So if you have the SB12 or their re-badged clones then the Grizzly hybrid model parts and manual would, I assume, be compatible.

I did find that the fence is not straight,
I suppose the easiest solution is to make a a MDF fence with the required shims behind it.
The front and rear of it is spot on BUT when I took reading at five points along the fence I got the following
Front=.000"
First = .001"
Second = .001"
Third =.002"
Rear=.000"
points indicated where the pen blanks are.
.001

Where the aluminium face is attached to the fence, do the attachment points roughly coincide with the variations?
My fence uses attaching bolts and I found 'dimples' where the holes had to be filed down slightly, you may have the same thing.

Is the GPW 10/12'' Table Saw same as the
Grizzly G1023RL 10"
G1023RL 10" 3 HP 220V Cabinet Left-Tilting Table Saw
or the Grizzly G0690 10"
G0690 10" 3HP 220V Cabinet Table Saw with Riving Knife

I doubt they are the same saw. Different guards and fittings. Even the location of the dust outlet are different
I just had a look at my fence and the aluminium face is held on with 6 screws. I'd remove the face and check for any dags or dust in between the fence and face. If that doesn't fix it you should be able to shim the low spots.Those were the droids I was looking for.

Thanks for that. I have some SS plate around here somewhere but it may be too thin. I'll have to dig it out.
