Default Bosch GTS 10 XC Dado capability.

I have just purchased the above saw and I cannot find any information on whether the saw is capable of using a dado set.
I have changed the ballade to a 40 tooth and during the process noticed that the arbour still has a lot of threads left after the blade is installed.

If anyone has one of these saws or knows if a dado set can be used I would appreciate the feedback.

Hi Skoda. Found just your question.

I own a GTS10. The manual doesn´t mention the dado capability. However, the US sister version, bosch 4100, does. You can download de 4100 bosch manual from the us bosch page. or http://mdm.boschwebservices.com/files/r51487v2.pdf páge 32

All the models sold in US

It say maximum dado capability, 13/16, which is a hair above 20mm. As per instructions, it states that the flat outside washer should be first installed in the shaft. Then the dado blades, and after the washer which was in the inner side. I´ve been dadoing for the last 3 years.

    Take care

I own a GTS 10 XC myself and although I love that machine to pieces there have been a couple of limitations that I cant seem to get my head around including the use of a dado.

Any chance you could post a photo of your table saw with the dado installed?

Up until now the only solution to that as well as the limited range blades that will fit the arbor is to follow this guy in the link below and do a swap over of the arbor with the arbor from a 4100.
