Bryens Model Machine table saw
I'm new at this site, and have just bought a Bryan's table saw. Should be here tomorrow. Can any one give me some insight on it? What I read it is the best for small work.

I’m not sure that they are available in Australia but reviews seem to rate then highly for model work.

I think there’s a couple of typos in the original post and topic title. If you mean a Byrnes saw, then I agree - they are the Rolls Royce of modelling saws. I have owned one for several years (I do a lot of model building) and have been very happy with it, as has every other owner I know. I bought mine back when the Aussie dollar was around parity with the US Dollar. Even so, postage added 50% to the price. And I haven’t regretted one cent of it!
It really excels at the small stuff you wouldn’t want to take near a full size saw. Jim Byrnes also released a cross cut sled that adds extra versatility to the saw. Yes, you can make your own, but this is so well engineered, it is like all of his other products - just a joy to use.
Happy to answer any further specific questions based on my own experience with this saw.
