faithful old Triton ROS cashesd its chipsin. Bought new Bosch PEx 400 and set to wor polishing all my metal surfaces - TS, BS, Disc sander, Drill press table, lathe.
No Silverglide to be found anywhere in Brisbane to prtect surfaces.
That night very heavy condensation in shed put me back to Square one.

artme, since you say there is none in Brisbane you've probably already checked ... but did you try Northwood Tools?

I, too, was waiting for silverglide to protect me from the icy Brisbane winter, but after my plane got rust spots the other day, I wiped it with Trad wax and, no more rust!

Last time I asked in Carbatec the guy nearly bit my head off! He must be a bit fed up with waiting too!

Trad wax will protect it until you get what you want. Actually, it's what I use all the time.

Seems to be working quite well. Actually I'm going to try it in the bathroom - on a stainless steel rubbish bin that's starting to show rust spots.
