Default Where to buy blades for Aldi 'Taurus' table saw - 250mm w/ 30mm bore

Hello, my first time ever posting on these great forums. My question is simply if anyone know where to buy blades for the Aldi 'Taurus' table saw. I've been using mine happily for some time, but need new blades. I can't seem to find ones that fit in Melbourne.

Specifically, the blades should be 250mm wide with a 30mm bore. I'm after a fine blade with 60 or more teeth. The blades I've seen at hardware stores tend to be 254mm wide, which just rub against the mount for the safety guard and are no good.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Mick

Latest Aldi catalogue has the whole saw including new blade for $69.99.
By the time you pay freight on the Carbatec blade it will be more methinks.

Different saw. I'm pretty sure the one Mick is talking about is the table saw which usually goes for around $200 (and which I also have, and for the money is pretty good).

    Very different saw.
    My mistake.
But if it has a suitable 10 inch blade then you get the extra saw as a bonus.

This mob are in Dandenong, if you are heading towards Carba-Tec, just keep heading to Dandenong, they have some quite good products for very reasonable prices. This one for instance is $24.50.

    TradeTools - KRA25060-TT TCT SAW BLADE 250MM X 60TH 30/25MM BORE

Give them a telephone call and mention what you specifically require, they do have more than is on the website, including neutral blades in most sizes and teeth configurations.
