    Default Carbotech 10HB

    Hey there folks,

    Looking for a table saw and came across one of these for just over a thousand. All looks to be in good nick with a couple of extra bits but trying to work out if it is a buy at that price or should I wait for something else.

    Any known issues with them. I have found out only comes with splitter and no riving knife. That cause any major issues? Going from jigsaw and upgrading :P

    Presume there is a way to edit but not seeing it. Saw is gone now so no need for the replies anyway. Am surprised no one had anything good or bad about the model

    Hi SirNed

    If you haven’t already done so, I suggest you search on the forum for Carbatec TSC 10HB. You will find numerous posts in which the saw is mentioned.

    I had one for many years and was happy with it particularly after I added a Kreg mitre gauge. I wasn't however all that keen on the splitter. Check out whether the splitter is damaged, bent or out of plane with the blade.

    They were a very popular table saw used by talented woodworkers (which I am not). They originally sold for circa $1,600/$1,700.
