Circular Saw Blade, carbide. 10" x 1/8" x 5/8" bore. Can cut a flat groove.
Hi Guys,
I am aware of Forest and Ridge circular saw blades (both made in USA) that are available in 10" O.D. with a 5/8" bore.
The Ridge (USA) TS2000, has good credentials. I think it has every 5th tooth with a flat kerf.
Is there a similar quality circular saw blade, Aussie made. I am not keen on hole inserts (washer) to adjust for bore size.
I also understand that the Ridge is not cheap.
Thanks

That Ridge blade will not cut a flat bottomed groove, the flat teeth will not be as high as the ATB teeth. To cut a flat bottomed groove you need a blade that has nothing but flat grind (FTG) teeth. I note that Ridge do make a 40 tooth FTG blade - 10" TS2000 Box Joint
It's quite unusual to find a 40 tooth FTG 10" blade. Generally FTG blades are designed for ripping and for a 10" size would have less than 30 teeth, 24 would be more usual. I'd expect you will find it difficult to find a high tooth count 10" FTG blade made in Australia. Getting a blade re-ground by a sharpening service might be your only option.

Aldav,
Thanks very much for your comment, I have found it not easy to source blade information, by Australian manufactures.
In shops I have noticed CMT, Saw Stop, overseas brands.

All your blades and information and questions can be addressed by a company such as Henry Bros. I have not heard very many complaints about their service at all.

Hi Chris
Appreciate the contact information for Henry Bros. I will follow up and get in contact with them.
Hopefully they do a 5/8" bore.
Many Thanks

Just posting here for what it's worth - my table saw, being a Saw Stop, is a 5/8" arbor. And I have a couple of 30mm arbor blades I use, with the adapter mentioned by Grahamross.
The only purpose of this adapter is to centre the blade on the arbor, it's not used to drive the blade - the flange on the arbor to secure the blade should well and truly grip the blade, and not just the adapter.
On that basis, I've had no issue in using these, despite initial reservations about them too.
I would say go get the blade that will do the best job you're looking to do, and free yourself of any concern on using these adapters - they work quite fine (one tip I will say, get an adapter for each blade, and once installed in a blade, leave it there - they're not really meant to move from blade to blade).
