CMT table saw blades
Hello again folks
I have just stuffed the blade I bought with my Carbatech 12ss at Chrissy.
I bought a couple of CMT blades to replace it and on delivery 1 had three teeth out of 24 chipped (1 megga) on a rip blade , the 96 t melamine blade had a couple of imperfections though I accepted it cos I needed to use it. Packaging was perfect so obviously a factory QC problem. They replaced the rip promptly. I have found I'm getting chipout on the top with the 96t blade and on inspection the blade is not running true.
Have any of you guys used CMT blades before and / or what is the consensus on brand to buy? The Flai I bought with the bench was magic, maybe not great for ripping hardwood but fantastic as a GP blade, handled melamine well. Twice the price of a CMT thoughNili Illegittimi Carborundum
