Thread: Crosscut Sled and Bevel Ripping Guide for my DeWalt Table Saw

Hi all, in another thread here I spoke of my recent purchase of a DeWalt Table Saw. Full details on that thread, and I must say I love this saw. Anyway, I have now made a cross cut sled, which you all know what that is. Then I also made a "bevel ripping guide" to fix onto the crosscut sled. It locks into place with that small black knob which you see on my photos. Of course the whole lot just lifts out and leaves me with my crosscut sled.

I can lock the timber into this, then depending on the length of the timber, just raise the blade till it protrudes through my timber, push the sled along and,,....all done, a perfect 45 degree cut. I seen a box on the web somewhere, where the lid was all done with 45 degree cuts, looks very nice, so that got me thinking how I could do that.

And the good thing here is, fingers are all out of the way.

I've since also purchased a featherboard for my DeWalt saw, works a treat also.
