Perhaps you put the points of the verniers into the thread. Anyhoo, all good.

I have the 40T version of this one - it's good. Clean enough that I never bothered getting a 60T.
All mine are the "thin kerf" version, 2.3mm thickness rather than 2.8.

I can't speak on the table saw blade, but for my Bosch SCMS (305mm) I have in recent times only bought the Makita Bluemak blades. They are definitely better than the original equipment Bosch blades and last time I purchased there was no significant difference in price. I am sure there are better blades around still but they will be much more expensive. I looked up Bunnings and Total Tools but neither seemed to have your size blade (approx 254mm) available. Trade Tools had this blade:

I am not particularly recommending this company or detracting from it and have no affiliations to it either. You may well be able to fins one at a better price. Nowadays if I want a reasonably priced circular saw blade (7¼", 9¼" or 12") I just look for the blue blade: Easy to spot on the shelves too, although that is not a reason for choosing it.

That blade would require a 30mm to 5/8" reduction bush inserted. It would always be my preference not to do that, if possible (yeah I know everything is clamped in place, but....)

I dont think I like the idea either, the outside washer/plate is concave in shape, I'd be worried about that 30mm bush slipping into the void and not supporting the blade any more

then you would really have some free play/vibration

On a slightly different note, the Hikoki TS as mentioned has its price reduced by $100 to $989, might not be selling too well

I note that you have one of these models, but the current blub says they come with a series 30 blade 24T, which is suitable for ripping, and has a 30mm bore. DeWalt seem a little secretive as to the bore size with their own site disclosing sweet FA, but I finally tracked down this supplier who details the bore size as 30mm. In fact when looking at DeWalt blades they all had 30mm bores, even the tiddlers!

Maybe they have changed the specs. Actually I find the 5/8" size surprisingly small and something I would expect to see only on 7¼" and smaller saws. 5/8" is not very versatile while the larger bores normally come with extra bushings. Not 30mm to 5/8" though! The important aspect is that the flanges holding the blade are the same size and large enough to contact the main body of the saw plate.

I have one blade that needs a reducing bush and to ensure it can't escape from the blade I super glued a smaller OD bush on either side of the reducer. The total width is slightly narrower than the gap between the concave flanges so it can only move very marginally, if at all.

Yebbut, have a look at Hodgo's post #37 – his blade is 5/8", 24T, and his spindle is, errr, similar (ignore the spindle measurement in that post).

OK. I read that lot. Ignore my recommendation. Can't help further.

    I have a dewalt dw745 which I've had for a few years.
I bought two Diablo blades from Bunnings, a 60 and a 90 tooth.
They both need reduction bushes to fit but have been very good.
I placed a piece of that clear packing tape on one side of the blade then fitted the rings and taped the other side as well.
This was mainly to stop me knocking them out while fitting to the arbour.
They both work well and cut beautifuly.
