Durden Pacemaker Combination Saws
Gday,
Hi, I just sold my little EasyCut Combo Saw and bought this Pacemaker.
Looks great, but it's 3 phase so I cant use it.......boo hoo.
Anyone know about converters? I was thinking of a static converter
coz of the cost, but i would like opinions on rotary gens too.
I am trying to get a hold of the mitre guage for this too.
and i want to get the moulder tables.
anyone know of anywhere?
And are there thicknessers for this thing? I think i read that older
ones had thicknesser attachments but werent powered....
surely one could hook up to the moulder and run some rollers via gears?
here are some pics of the saw. i think its modded up600? if there opinions
on that i'd like to hear em.
Thanks to steve and pehey for their help. I now have exploded parts diagrams,
full manuals, and wiring diagrams. of course im happy to forward those on.
Cheers,
Dee

Mine is the same model, but mine is single phase. It also doesn't have an overhead guard (the guard attaches to the table behind the blade and is a guard/splitter in one unit. Yours also has a longer fence support, which is something I intend to do to mine. It's simply a steel bar with a few tapped holes. Should be easy enough to make longer. The thicknesser I have, but haven't yet used. It is a set of height adjustable rollers that sit above the jointer blades, and a sprung pressure plate that sits on the infeed table and presses the timber up against the roller. Manual feed.
The other day I described to my daughter how to find something in the garage by saying "It's right near my big saw". A few minutes later she came back to ask: "Do you mean the black one, the green one, or the blue one?".

What sort of condition was it in when you got it? It looks like it has had a lot of work done to it.
My age is still less than my number of posts

@petersemple....cool, ur lucky to have the single phase it seems...what motor do u have in it? the one in this
is a WEG 1.5hp i think. So jealous of ur thicknesser (wanna sell it?) would love to see pics of ur machine.
yeah , making a extended table looks pretty basic. the overhead guard is pretty cool too, but i do miss having a splitter.
@chook....this is how i got it. The bloke made the table extension and overhead guard thingy.
