    Default Fence Accuracy Jet JPS10-TS

I can set the fence perfectly square to the mitre slot with a dial gauge but the squareness varies according to how tight the fence is locked down. This means everytime I need to change the fence setting I would need to lock down the fence with exactly the same clamping force as when it was calibrated to the mitre slot to gaurantee that it is square which is impossible.

How can I adjust the fence so that it remains square to the mitre slot regardless of the lock down pressure?

I had the same problem with my Carbatec saw, one of the reasons I am looking to upgrade, the fence was very poor quality.

I upgraded to a JET Fence but still the blade can tend to move a bit so I am going to bite the bullet and buy a new saw.
