Fritz and Franz Jig Question
Hello,
I am wondering what the purpose of the rear portion of the F&F jig is for? I have a 1600mm slider and it seems like the crosscut fence would function as the rear portion of the jig just fine?
Possible reasons to have a rear portion:
- Lower profile to slide under the blade dust collector.
- Better grip compared to the fence.
- Can use the middle of the slider rather than the end.
Are these the only benefits? What am I missing here?
Cheers, Bevan.
