A new one would be upwards of $17K ex GST, so anything around $10000 would be a reasonable starting price.
However, there's a pretty limited market, and tight economic times, so whether it goes for that is another question.
I've seen some very nice 2nd hand machines sitting at Felder for 6+ months without a buyer

forgot to mention - single or 3P would also affect price. 3P even more limited market

I was quoted around 19k for a new 20/21 model depending on what accessories were included along with a 12 month lead time. Felder said there weren’t any second hand units they were tracking available at that time
Since then have found SCM minimax and Robland to have equivalent machines around the 12-16k mark new and equivalent features

I reckon anything south of 15k would be a good price judging for Delb's information. I had a visitor yesterday who said much the same thing, availability is the biggest hurdle despite Felder having lifted production numbers considerably.

I never considered the C series but Felder tried hard to sell me one when I was shopping for my K3! The saw along with the A3-31 suits me down to the ground and a spindle moulder has never been on the list of something I want to own after seeing one used. I guess with power feeding I might be tempted to use one but I am not in a hurry to find out. You could not pry the K3 out of my hands with any offer short of a shot gun.

I do agree with that, even though I had a set of cutters for the spindle Moulder I didn’t have the power feeder and found it intimidating.
I really just found the combination functions between the tablesaw and the helical head jointer thicknesses fantastic
Need to find a new workshop first then take a look at what combo machines are on offer

FWIW I paid $9,500 for a 1999 Felder BF6-31, 3 phase, heavily optioned in pristine condition. As others have mentioned, availability of new machines is very limited and there are long delays and price increases to factor in too.
I have a stand alone spindle moulder with PF that I was frightened of, but after a few hundred metres of material I wouldn’t be without one. It's all part of the service here at The House of Pain™

I paid $7,500 for my K3 in 2013 and I recently had a quote from Felder for insurance reasons and it was $13,000. My MM bandsaw in 2014 cost less than half of what they want for one now. Machine prices are nuts, I would not own what I have if buying today. Felder have today announced substantial price increases in the US but I don't know if they will follow suit here.

Seems price hikes for machinery are in order. SCM advised ‘place your order soon before the price hike, if not we can see what we can do for you in the new year’
I picked up my C3 31 2012 model for a steal in comparison to all prices I’m reading these days. Oh well you love and you learn right?….right?

The thing with the Hammer/Felder saws/combo units are that they start as a fairly bare-bones product, you add the features you want and they then build the machine for you.
Each of the options you add ratchets up the price, when I was shopping for a slider 2 years ago by time I'd optioned up a k3 the quote was more than a minimax SC4E with overhead guard and seperate scoring motor so that's what I went with.
In the current times availability would certainly play a huge factor in the decision.

Absolutely agree, I’m not after just the brand, definitely the helix’s head cutters on the jointer and most likely a 3hp motors.
I really enjoyed having the combo machine at the centre of the shop and get into a good workflow of order of operations before going to the bench for joinery etc
I’ll pick up the convo with SCM or Robland soon enough whilst keeping an eye on second hand

Well, the power feeder and bracket alone are around $2,000. Did you tell him he was dreamin'?
