Slider re attached today, jointer blades re assembled, saw blades cleaned and performed some test cuts. Gotta love smooth square cuts!

Next challenge is the internal ducting pipe work such a pain to get it over the rectangle mouth. For now I’m just happy to be up and running again. Machines running well so far. Will clean down the cast iron tops tomorrow

    Cheers

Was an interesting experience to troubleshoot the fact the saw was taking 20 seconds to come to a complete stop. Speaking with Felder and digging through some schematic diagrams we found that the braker board was likely faulty. The ceramic fuse seemed fine but the boards are known to fail occasionally and this is a 2016 model so I ordered a new one for $170. Thankfully I was able to install it myself as all of the wires are plugged so I didn’t need to solder anything just a direct swap out

Love the fact all motors now come to a complete stop within 2-3 seconds. Feels brand new! This machines really coming together and is a powerhouse of capability for my size workshop. Can’t get over how smooth the end grain is after a crosscut from this saw!
