    Default Hammer K3

Has anyone in or near Sydney got a Hammer K3 sliding table saw I could look at? I went to Felder today and they can't show me one which I found surprising to say the least.

Thanks Pete but I just want to have a look at the machine and see it's features. Did you buy it unseen?

Yep, it is nice to have a look see at the real thing rather than just piccies, Felder were at the Bris. wood show so I looked at it there, a few yrs ago now, I had been struggling with the Durden and just decided it was time for something better, far better

    Hi Chris,
Although i can't help you look at one, i can say without a doubt they are good machines. I own a 700 series felder, but had a good look at the hammer stuff when i bought it 6 years ago. Short of weight and the rigidity of the rip fence the 700 is every bit as good as the 50k Altendorf i did my trade time with. IMHO the hammers are nicer than the minimax, which was my other choice at the time.
