Hammer K3 T-track
This may be common knowledge amongst the more experienced woodworkers here, but I haven't seen it mentioned before...
The slot in the K3's slider is an odd size. The usual t-track or mitre slot hardware doesn't fit.

So I thought I'd see if a standard 5/16th T-track would fit inside the K3 track - the measurements suggest it would:

You have to remove the little machine screw in the K3 slot to get the track in, but that's it - it slides in easily, and then allows you to use standard t-track hardware on the slider.

So is the t-track fixed or is it doing the clamping on the upper edge of the slot? Looks like the later but not sure. I sized up some UHMW to slide in the slot of my Minimax SC2 so that I can attach my Incra Mitre gauge when needing to cut angles.
And while on t-track, I have some generic track from Mcjings, some Incra track and some Kreg track. They are all slightly different sizes, I understand they want you to stick with their product but is a bloody pain.

The track isn't fixed, so the track is just clamping against the roof of the slot.
I cut made some pieces of hardwood the fit the slot and the track clamps, but they broke pretty quickly - just not enough wood.
I'm using McJing's track.
I'm going to play around with it a bit and see how things go vs a fenced board like Derek has made.

A Festool style clamp goes into the original slot as well.
