Need help: 90° flip stop for Felder K500 / KF700
Hey guys,
I own a Felder Kf700 and I struggle a little bit to get repeatable exact 90° cuts using the small crosscut fence and hope somebody can help.
I am using the following Felder mounting set for the crosscut fence:

I find it quite difficult to adjust it to a perfect 90° because it moves slightly when you tighten the screws in the 90° position. This is why i never use another angle.
Couple of years ago I found somebody who engeneered a solution for this problem and sold a kit. I was just not able to find him anymore :/
This is the solution for the Hammer machines - its way simpler but seems to be more reliable:

I wonder if anybody of you has experienced the same issue with his Felder Machines and have a good solution for me!
May thanks and all the best from Germany.

Welcome to the forum, i have a Hammer c3 31 comfort slider which has the outrigger attachment, i also attach my crosscut fence in the same way but on the outrigger it has pre-defined angles you can slot the fence into, it also has these flip up metal stops that when the fence is registered visually on the 0 degree line it sits up against that metal stop registering that its square to the blade.
I also have the stop in your picture i purchased from felder to add to my saw but i only use it when i have the crosscut fence at the other end of the slider when the workpiece is sitting infront of the fence. Most of the time with the outrigger setup the workpiece is sitting behind the fence if that makes sense.
Even though i use the metal stops for 90 degree registration to the blade i still check with a square each time anyway. It depends on what equipment you have available to your KF700 and the length of your slider as to where you want to set it up primarily.
Hope that helps, If you want any photos i can take some later today
Nathan
